北村 和也
Kazuya Kitamura
a Japanese multidisciplinary artist,
filmmaker, and creative director.
Based in Prague,Czech Republic
Japanese,English
Working across
film,
photography,
music,
design,
space,
and dialogue, my practice explores
memory,
human connection,
love,
time,
and the ways individual experiences become part of our collective consciousness.
Rather than being defined by a single medium, my work begins with observation—of people, places, histories, and moments that might otherwise disappear.
hrough my practice, Kitamura seeks to create spaces where different cultures, generations, and perspectives can encounter one another, asking a recurring question:
What do we choose to observe, remember, and carry forward?
